Wedding catering...
Apart from seeing the bride and groom on their special day, the second most important thing about the day is the food. It can often make, or break, your wedding. If people enjoy the food and drink then they will tend to socialise a lot more freely. At the end of the day, this is what you need to be aiming for and therefore you should make a real effort with the food for your guests.
Call us for a free consultation so we can discuss your options and design exactley what's best for your day.
Money saving tips
- Most guests now days will expect to pay for drinks, arrange with the bar to pay for a percentage of each drink this will have a huge impact on the bill at the end of the night and the guest will love the cheap drinks.
- Taking a day trip across the channel to Calais in a van could save you a fortune in alcohol.
- To be honest, it is possible to cater for you own wedding, I did it. If a family member or friend doesn’t mind helping for a large number of guests and you can get other members of your family to assist on the day with the preparing, serving and cleaning, then great, as you could save yourself a bit of money. But be warned it is hard work and will just add to what will already be a very stressful day. However, if you don’t think you can muster up enough support to have it run smoothly, and you think you might be imposing on your family then you shouldn’t even ask.
- Cup Cakes placed in tiers these mini cakes can be a great alternative with the added bonus that you can have several different flavours. Choosing this style will not only give your guests that perfect portion but it is far cheaper.
